Higginbotham (205) 235-7323 (Site Code DAAC01) THE SYNOPSIS PUBLISHED ON 17 JUN 97 IN THE COMMERCE BUSINESS DAILY IS MODIFIED AS FOLLOWS: Delete the following statements -- The system shall consist of cleaning tank, freeboard refrigeration system (chiller), super heated vapor zone, solvent recovery still, solvent storage tank, floor grating, associated with piping, controls and pumps. The vapor degreaser shall provide a vapor zone that is approximately 25 ft. long, 5 ft. wide and 7 ft. deep. The following information now applies -- Contractor shall furnish and install a stationary trichloroethylene or perchloroethylene vapor-spray, degreaser system. The system shall be in compliance with the NESHAP. The system shall be completely installed, tested and ready for operation in accordance with these standards. The existing degreaser and still along with associated piping and solvent storage tank shall be decon taminated, cut into pieces and placed into containers provided by the Gov ernment. The above description of work does not in any way limitthe responsibility of the contractor to perform all work and furnish all plant, labor, materials and equipment to successfully complete contract require ments. Any item, or items, excluded in the specifications that is required for a complete and operational degreaser system shall be considered part of the system as purchased. One each. THIS REQUIREMENT IS SUBJECT TO THE AVAILABILITY OF FUNDS. Completion time is 90 calendar days from date of award ( including installation and training).
