The Department Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Battle Creek, Michigan intends to award a contract to provide 74 VHF radios. This is a Combined Synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; Requests for Quotes (RFQ) are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Contractor shall provide 74 sixteen channel VHF radios with standard programming, Stat-Alert, antenna, programming print-out, frequency and PL/DPL programming. Accessories to include: 41 leather cases w/swivel, 74 Express Service plus warranty program, 47 spare batteries, 30 analog voice security(encryption), 40 remote speaker microphones, 18 spring belt clips for spare batteries, 8 2-piece surveillance microphones w/PTT, 37 single unit compact rapid chargers, 8 six-unit rapid chargers, six unit battery maintenance system, 6 adapter pockets, 2 lightweight headsets w/swivel boom, 2 nylon carry case w/belt loop, 2 2" nylon web belts, 2 replacement ear & mic foam covers, radio theory and troubleshooting manual, service manual, encryption manual. This is a firm fixed price contract.
