This Acquisition is to modify the existing contract DAAB07-89-C-C257 in order to extend the period of performance of contractor provided maintenance. The contract is to be extended from October 1997 thru FY-02. The proposed contract modification is a sole-source follow-on, Time and Material (T&M) contract to the Special Operations Communication Assemblages SOCA contract with Alliant Tech System Inc, Signal Analysis Center, 401 Defense Hwy, P.O. Box 391, Annapolis MD. It is estimated to be $2.2 Million dollars. The minimum needs can only be satisfied by unique supplies available from only one responsible source.
