This announcement constitutes the only solicitation: proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation f41691-97-Q1348 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 90-43. This requirement is set-aside 100% for small business. The SIC code is 3577, Computer Peripheral Equipment, size standard 1000. Requirement consists of 50 Hewlett-Packard Laser Jet II (P/N HP-33440R or equal). Each unit shall include an additional 2.5 MB RAM, (1) Toner Cartridge and 90 day Carry-In Warranty. If quoting "or equal" please submit specification with your quote. Interested parties capable of providing the above, must submit written price and technical proposals, and provide firm evidence of their ability to perform. All responses will be fully considered. Award will be made under simplified acquisition procedures, evaluation procedures IAW FAR 13.106-2 will be used. Offers must include catalog price lists, delivery schedules and a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representation and Certifications Commercial Items.
