Norton (205) 235-6629 (Site Code DAAC01) Non-personal services for a maintenance contract on two (2) furnaces and one (1) blast washer. The furnaces are (Internal Batch Furnace/7998 and Batch Tempering Furnace/7998) and one Batch washer/8751 manufactured by Atmosphere Furnace Company. Pre-scheduled maintenance will include hot and cold inspection and temperature uniformity surveys to be performed two times per year. Necessary equipment repairs will be performed during the pre-scheduled maintenance to restore equipment to 100 percent operational levels. There is also a requirement for unlimited on-site emergency repairs. Vendor must be able to respond to request for services within twenty-four (24) clock hours after notification that services are required. Only new, standard repair parts, or certified replacements of equal quality, shall be used in performing repairs. This contract will be for a base period -- 1 Oct 1997 thru 31 Mar 1999 and two (2) one year options. First option year 1 Apr 1999 thru 31 Mar 2000 and Second Option year 1 Apr2000 thru 31 Mar 2001.
