Y -- CONSTRUCTION OF A STEEL MAINTENANCE PLATFORM SOL MDA113-97-B-0501 DUE 092297 POC Artimae Shepherd, Contracting Officer, (909)413-2303, Bill Gilmore, Contract Specialist, (909)413-2412 Construction of a steel maintenance platform/catwalk and access ladder for the Automatic Storage and Retieval System (ASRS) located in Building 2730 at March ARB, CA which contains the Defense Visual Information Center in accordance with plans and drawings included with the contract solicitation. Work shall take place in a confined area at a heighth of 34 feet. All construction material supplied shall meet OSHA standards. Access ladder will be provided by the Government. Project value is estimated in the $25,000-$100,000 range. Tentative dates are as follows: issue solicitation -- 22 AUG 97, bid opening -22 SEP 97, complete performance -- 30 NOV 97. Requests for copies of the IFB should be submitted no later than 22 AUG 97. (0219)
