Owens (757) 322-4500 The work includes constructing an enclosure building over the two diesel generators located on the northeastern corner of the roof of Building W-143 at the Norfolk Naval Station, Norfolk, Virginia. The generators are mounted on an elevated equipment platform. The enclosure shall be provided with proper ventilation, lighting and access doors. Also as part of this project is the replacement of the wood decking on the cooling tower platform located to the west of the generators. The decking shall be replaced with metal or fiberglass and incidental related work. Plans and specifications will be available on or about 25 August 1997. A check or money order for $25.00 payable to the Treasury of the United States is required as a non-refundable charge for each set of bidding data.
