Tennant, Contracting Officer, (301) 394-3439. The purpose of this procurement is to obtain maintenance support services for Government SGI information processing equipment. The period of performance is anticipated to be five (5) years. This proposed contract action is for services which require access to and understanding of SGI proprietary software and therefore, competition is restricted to approved source, Silicon Graphics Inc. (SGI), the original equipment manufacturer and code developer. However, firms that recognize and can provide the required service are encouraged to identify themselves and submit written capabilities statements to the Contracting Officer within fifteen (15) calendar days after date of publication of this synopsis.
