This requirement is for performance of Basewide Custodial Services for Robins AFB, Georgia. Contractor responsibilities will include removing trash from buildings, cleaning floors, windows, light fixtures, and furniture, vacuuming and cleaning carpets, cleaning restrooms, and furnishing restroom supplies. The contractor will be required to furnish all cleaning supplies and equipment. The contract will encompass approximately 1,519,840 square feet in 179 buildings. The contract will include a basic contract period of four months, four priced annual options, an eight-month priced option, and a one to six month short option. An orientation period of approximately 60 days will be required if award is made to an offeror other than the incumbent contractor. This acquisition will be set aside 100% for small business participation. All responsible small business sources may submit a proposal. Proposals submitted in response to the solicitation will be evaluated in accordance with procedures outlined in FAR Part 12 for acquisition of commercial items. Award will be made to the responsible offeror whose proposal represents the best overall value to the Government as determined through evaluation of price and past performance. All offerors will be required to submit past performance information which will be used for evaluation purposes. No technical proposal will be required. A draft request for proposal will be issued approximately 30 Sep 97 and a presolicitation conference will be held approximately 15 Oct 97. Award will be made no later than 29 May 98.
