This is a commercial service requirement for demolition, dismantling, and removal of a water tower at Hurlburt Field, FL. The Contractor shall provide all notification to regulatory agencies, permits, fees, equipment, labor, and supervision necessary to accomplish the complete demolition of a 135-foot tall water tower with a tank 40 feet in diameter and a 75,000 gallon capacity. Work includes, but is not limited to, removal of the entire structure, e.g. steps, ladders, sidewalks, supporting structures, columns, bracing, poured in place concrete, reinforced concrete footings, piping, electrical fixtures, devices, equipment, and other components. The contractor shall completely remove the tower and foundation, remove an existing concrete vault, and plug existing water piping with concrete. Upon completion of demolition, dismantling, and disposal, the contractor shall finish-grade the area to blend with the existing contour of the land, including additional fill as may be required. The contractor shall sod all disturbed areas with centipede grass and cover with a light topping of lawn dressing and water daily for 7 days. This contract shall be 100% set aside for small business concerns. All responsible sources may submit a quotation. Prospective offerors must submit a written request for solicitation documents.
