Burks, Contracting Officer, (703) 325-6684 The Defense Special Weapons Agency (DSWA) has a requirement for 4 Crane Magnets for Submarine Dismantlement, to support Russian Strategic Offensive Arms Elimination as specified in agreements between the US DoD and the Ministry of Defense Industry of the Russian Federation concerning cooperation in the elimination of Strategic Offensive Arms Elimination (SOAE), dated 26 Aug 93. The crane magnets are required to facilitate the dismantlement of submarines in Russia. The combined weight of each of the magnets together with the payload are to be capable of lifting up to 15 metric tons. Magnets to be delivered 3 months after award.
