58 -- SATELLITE COMMUNICATIONS TRAILER SOL DATM01-97-R-0017 DUE 092197 POC Contract Specialist Liz Arispe 254-288-9539, Contracting Officer Ted Panknin 254-288-1305 (Site Code DATM01) The US Army Government intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for one Satellite Communications Trailer (SCT) with an option for an additional two trailers to be used in support of testing missions of the Test and Experimentation Command Fire Support Test Directorate (TEXCOM FSTD) at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. The contractor shall furnish personnel, material, equipment, facilities, and other services as may be required to perform the work. The SCT shall be a self-contained trailer supporting satellite and associated instrumentation systems which will include: an antenna system, air conditioners, generators, operator and service manuals. The SCT and ancillary equipment shall have a full manufacturer's warranty. This will be a Firm-Fixed-Price Contract. Desired delivery date is 01 MAR 98. This requirement is Subject to the Availability of Funds. This is a 100% Set-Aside for Small Business Concerns. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency.
