65 -- DOSIMETERS TO BE PROVIDED TO RUSSIA SOL DSWA01-97-R-0045 DUE 100197 POC Sandy Bednoski, Negotiator, (703) 325-6762, Edward Archer, Contracting Officer, (703) 325-5028 The Defense Special Weapons Agency (DSWA) has, as part of the Cooperative Threat Reduction Program, a requirement to supply dosimetry equipment for Russian Federation Ministry of Defense personnel working in the presence of neutron and gamma ray fields. The requirement will consist of approximately 3500 dosimeters, 35 readers, and any associated calibration and support equipment. The dosimeters will be exposed to neutrons and gamma rays of various energies, and will be required to measure the absorbed dose accurately. It will also be necessary to train Russian Federation technical personnel in the operation of the dosimeter systems. The training will occur in the Russian Federation, and be conducted in Russian. Those companies wishing to receive a copy of the RFP must submit a request in writing, including a point of contact, phone number, fax number, and mailing address to Sandy Bednoski.
