This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-46. This is a sole source requirement IAW Far 6.302-1. This RFQ has the following line item: Software, Chameleon UnixLink V7.0 with maintenance and upgrades, quantity 390 each. Delivery required NLT 26 Sep 97 to NAIC/SCST. The following clauses and provisions apply: 52.212-1, 52.212-3 shall be included with any offer, 52.212-4, and 52.212-5. WPAFB intends to award to NetManage, 98 Spit Brook Road, Suite 300, Nashua, NH 03062. The approximate issue/response date will be 08 Aug 97. The anticipated award date will be 29 Aug 97. An Ombudsman has been appointed to address concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. When requested, the Ombudsman shall maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern.
