70 -- PURCHASE OF SOFTWARE AND SOFTWARE MAINTENANCE DUE 082297 POC Sandra Lute, 618-256-9705 The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO), Computer Technology Division, Procurement Branch (DTS42) intends to issue a sole source contract to Unicon Group, LTD, 302 Sovereign Court, Suite 206, St. Louis, MO 63011, for the acquisition of 1 copy of LOUIS II Software (L-450) complete with first year's technical support and maintenance for a one year period, DMS Interface (L-560), MAPPER Interface (L-580) and LCOM (LL-110). Requested delivery date for the software is 30 days after contract award (earlier delivery date is desired). The period of performance for maintenance is one year from receipt of the software. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 10 USC 2304 (c)(1), Only One Responsible Source and no Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Companies who can provide the above listed software products and maintenance must indicate their interest within 8 days of this announcement. Any party interested in receiving a copy of thesolicitation shall provide written notice to the Contracting Office. Datafax requests to 618-256-9592 are acceptable. No contract award will be made on the basis of quotations/proposals received in response to this notice, since this synopsis cannot be considered a Request for Quotations/Proposals.
