Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), Center for Mental Health
Services (CMHS) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with the
County Behavioral Health Institute, 1555 Connecticut Avenue, NW, Suite
200, Washington, D.C. 20036. The purpose of this requirement is to
assist the counties to better utilize their own experience and
knowledge to help each other. It will enable them to develop a strategy
for how best to identify, document, and disseminate information about
programs and practices at the county/local level. And it will enable
them to develop prototype knowledge transfer products for this purpose.
The period of performance is eight (8) months. This award will be made
using simplified acquisition procedures. The Government reserves the
right not to open this requirement to competition based upon the
responses of this notice. Technical responses and requests received as
a result of this notice of intent will normally be considered solely
for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive
procurement. Interested firms must submit clear and convincing data
substantiating their capability to furnish this requirement within
fifteen (15) days from the date of publication of this notice. NO
SOLICITATION PACKAGE IS AVAILABLE. If no affirmative response is
received award will be made to the County Behavioral Health Institute.
