The work consits of preparing sites for planting using mechanical methods on tractor operable slopes and by ;hand on intermingled steeper slopes on approximately 400 acres. Contract time is 50 days. All units are located on the Upper Lake Ranger District, Mendocino National Forest, Lake county, California. Estimated issue date is 25 August 97 with an estimated date for receipt of quotes of 19 Sept. 97. Estimated start work date is 29 Sept 97.
