Fax at (703) 607-4611 The Defense Information Systems Agency intends to negotiate a contract with SQL Systems, Inc., of 6442 City West Parkway, Eden Prairie, Minnesota for software maintenance. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format of Federal Acquisition Regulation subpart 12.6. This announcement constitutes this as Request for Proposal number DCA100-97-R-0101. The provisions and clauses for the RFP are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Regulation circular 90-45 (or latest). The SIC is 7371 and the size standard is $18 million. The specific item required is maintenance of Automated Maintenance Control System II software which is a proprietary product of SQL Systems and the Government has no other technical data to describe the software. The period of performance is 1 October 1997 through 30 September 1998. The place of delivery will be in Washington, DC 20734; exact address will be provided at contract award. Offeror will use this information to propose delivery FOB destination. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition. Offerors must include a complete copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items.
