Dickey, Contracting Officer (605) 353-9215 The Western Area Power Administration has a requirement for the inspection and treatment of wood poles. The work consists of above and below-ground inspection, non-destructive testing, application of groundline and internal decay treatments, tagging, and preparation of inspection reports for 2,352 poles for the base year, 2,235 poles for option year I, 4,858 poles for option year II, 5,231 poles for option year III and 5,560 poles for option year IV. The work will be performed in portions of North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska and Minnesota. The transmission lines will be energized during the performance of the work. This is an unrestricted acquisition of commercial services. A limited number of solicitations are available on a first come -- first served basis.
