Contractors on the source list who previously requested a solicitation package will receive this solicitation package without a new request. The Air Force Development Test Center (AFDTC), Eglin AFB FL, has a requirement for removal and disposal of approximately 2.41 million gallons of settled solids from the following four holding ponds: 1.95 million gallons from Eglin AFB north holding pond, 0.4 million gallons from Eglin AFB south holding pond, 22,000 gallons from Site C-6 holding pond, and 40,000 gallons from Field 3 (Duke Field) holding pond. The contractor shall remove the solids down to the clay liner in Eglin north and Site C-6 holding ponds and down to the asphalt liner in the Eglin south and Field 3 holding ponds. In addition, the contractor shall remove and dispose of all vegetation in the Eglin north holding pond. The holding pond contains vegetation including but not limited to cattails, duck weed, weeds, and various algae. This procurement is an open competition acquisition in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program (FAR 19.1005).
