E-MAIL: Connie Skipper, Contracting Officer, skipperc@emh5.stewart.army.mil. The Army requires a contract to Install Vinyl Siding on Buildings 08, 131, and 132, Fort Stewart, Georgia. The work includes, but is not limited to the following: Demo existing wood louvers at gable ends and install new white aluminum louvers with insect screens at gable ends of buildings; install new double 5" white vinyl siding (insulated) entire exterior of buildings. At existing building skirt, remove moulding and install plywood filler to match existing siding. Install new siding to bottom of buildings. Replace all exterior fascia and cladding of exposed wood to be with metal flashing; paint all exterior stairs and decks; paint all exterior painted areas not receiving siding; demo and dispose of wooden ladders attached to walls at gable ends. The work shall be completed within 45 calendar days after receipt of notice to proceed. The magnitude of the project is between $25,000 and $100,000.
