The Navy requires a basic quantity of 2 each lightweight multipurpose (electrical equipment) shelters, NSN 5411-01-357-3582, P/N MIL-PRF-44408C, Type I, with options for an additional 6 each. These shelters will be used in the U.S. Marine Corps Air Defense Communications Platform (ADCP). Approximate dimensions are 8.5 ft. long x 5.583 ft. high x 7 ft. wide. Maximum weight is 608 lbs. These shelters are designed to be mounted on a High Mobility Multi-Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV) and must meet requirements for transportability in DoD rotary wing aircraft. One door and various ventilation ports are required. First Article may be required.
