The Navy is seeking to determine if either of the types of antenna systems described below are available commercially, and/or if there are any set-aside opportunities, i.e., any 8(a)'s, at least two small disadvantaged businesses or at least two small businesses capable of providing the antennas. The applicable SIC Code for this acquisition is 3663, the size standard for which is 750 employees. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division is seeking sources of receiving antenna systems for shipboard collection of telemetry from STANDARD Missile in support of the Aegis Lightweight Exo-Atmospheric Projectile (LEAP) intercept program. The antenna system will consist of a semi-permanently mounted, radome-enclosed, dual-axis, steerable antenna and an antenna control unit. Antenna performance includes simultaneous dual-polarized signal reception and G/T = 6 dB/K over the frequency range of 2.2 to 2.4 Ghz. Two variants are planned: commanded and autotracking. A quantity of two each will be required. Respondents to this sources sought announcement are requested to provide the following information: whether or not one or both of the antenna systems are available commercially (or a commercial product with minor modifications), available descriptive literature of the item(s), and whether your company is an 8(a), SDB, SB or Large business for the SIC Code listed above.
