The Naval Facilities Engineering Service Center, Port Hueneme, California is seeking information on commercially available technology or detection systems applicable to the detection of explosives and chemical, biological agents. Areas of interest are: Systems used for screening large vehicles, trucks, which can scan and detect explosive material located anywhere in the vehicle, or under the vehicle. Detection systems used at walk through portals. Systems for scanning and detecting chemical and biological agents. Types of information sought are technical specifications, technology descriptions, operational and maintenance requirements, costs either purchase or lease, emerging or alternative technologies. Based upon the informa- tion received, if in the best interest of the government, the government may issue a solicitation to solicit proposals for the purpose of contract award.
