Smith Contracting Officer (919) 541-0635 The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) intends to negotiate sole source with Peregrine Systems, Inc. 1959 Palomar Oaks Way, Carlsbad, CA 92009 for continued software maintenance services subject to the availability of FY-98 funds. The maintenance services for the software listed below includes usage rights, enhancements, correction of errors and omissions, automatic updates, and technical support hotline services. The Agency's requirement for maintenance support is for the following software: PNMS III (PNMS/MVS 1-15 Concurrent Users): Base, Change Management, Inventory/Configuration, Financial Management, And Application Generator (AG). EPA believes Peregrine Systems, Inc., is the only vendor capable of satisfying the software maintenance requirements stated above. The period of performance is expected to be from November 19, 1997 through November 18, 1998. No Solicitation is available. All interested parties must respond within 15 days of the date of this announcement. Interested vendors shall: 1) include information on the proposed services which clearly supports the requirements outline above; 2) provide itemized pricing that is sufficient to make a determination that competition is feasible.
