A&E SERVICES WITH EMPHASIS ON MECHANICAL AND ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING The purpose of this synopsis is to modify the synopsis posted in the Commerce Business Daily on May 6, 1997, and later modified on August 6, 1997, by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). The original synopsis advertised NIST's requirement to provide architect and engineering services with an emphasis on mechanical and electrical engineering. The modification announced the Government's intent to award multiple contracts for the aforementioned requirement. As additional interest has been expressed in the requirement since the August 6 modification, the Government hereby extends the time for the submission of Forms 254 and 255, U.S. Government Architect-Engineering Qualifications, or modifications of previously submitted qualification forms. The requested information shall be submitted by 3:00pm EST, seven (7) calendar days from the publication of this announcement to the attention of Verron Brade, NIST, Acquisition and Assistance Division, Building 301, Room B117, Gaithersburg, MD 20899.
