U -- ED SECTION 504 TRAINING" SOL RFQ-97-B001 DUE 091297 POC Rebecca Haynes, 202-708-7777, Contracting Officer, Joyce Calloway The Office of Management (OM), U.S. Department of Education (ED) has a requirement for the specialized services of a contractor with significant expertise in developing a comprehensive training plan and then delivering training on the Rehabilitation Act and/or the Americans with Disabilities Act, familiarity with a variety of disability characteristics, knowledge of disability related employment and customer service issues, and familiarity with assistive technology for people with disabilities. The contract duration is twelve (12) months. The requests for Quotation (RFQ)will be issued on August 21, 1997. It is anticipated that the closing date for receipt of proposals will be on or around September 10, 1997. Requests for copies of the RFQ may be by telephone or mail or in person by calling Rebecca Haynes at the above phone number and address. Requests can also be made by fax to 202-260-0525. All requests shall reference the solicitation number: RFQ-97-B001 and the title of the RFQ. All proposals received by 2:00pm on September 10, 1997 will be considered by the Government.
