Island Arsenal, Rock Island, IL, Building 225. SCOPE OF SERVICES:
Furnish all plant, labor, equipment, and material for performing all
operations in strict accordance with drawings and Scope of Work for the
repair of floor, Building 225, west bay, first floor. Work includes but
not limited to the following: Provide a dist curtain comprised of 2
inch x 4 inch framing covered with visqueen; revise existing floor
drain system and plumbing; demolish and remove stairs to basement and
enclosure surrounding stairs; sawcut existing floor cap to a 6 inch
depth; demolish and remove floor cap; core drill 6 inch diameter holes,
fill basement with flowable fill; provide 8 inch thick concrete patch;
demolish and remove paving at west overhead doors; provide catch basin
and ductible iron storm sewer; and all pavement joints shall be sawcut
within 12 hours of concrete placement and shall be 2.5 inch deep.
Joints shall be sealed. COST RANGE: Between $25,000 and $100,000. TYPE
OFCONTRACT: Firm Fixed Price Construction. DURATION OF CONTRACT
PERIOD: Commence within 30 calendar days and complete not later than 60
calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. APPROXIMATE ISSUE
DATE: 4 September 1997 with closing date 30 calendar days from issue.
