The FISC Norfolk Det Philadelphia intends to acquire on-personalContractor Engineering and Technical Services (CETS) by qualified field service personnel for the purpose of informing, instructing and training Department of the Navy Personnel in the installation, operation and maintenance in support of the MH-53 and HH-1 series helicopter Common Aviation Support Equipment which includes the following: Aircraft 3/4/12 ton jacks; Aircraft washing machine/foamers; Aircraft engine handling trailers and adapters; Helicopter blade handling slings and fixtures; Welding equipment; Hanger floor scrubbers; B-1/2/4/5 aircraft maintenance work stands; PON-6 hydraulic fill stands; MH-53 series main gearbox, rotor head and rotor blade maintenance and storage stands; NAN-2/4 nitrogen servicing trailer; NC-10 A/C mobile electric power plant; A/S 32A-30A and JG tow tractor; ALBAR universal tow bars; HH-1 series helicopter wheel assemblies: A/S 32A-14 Pettibone maintenance crane; VACU blast machine and associated equipment; A/M 27T-5/7 hydraulic test stands; A/M 27T-6 hydraulic check and fill; MH-53 and HH-1N assort slings; 6K fork lift. The proposed procurement consists of Task 26720 at NCSC Panama City FL. The basic contract period will be on or about 01 November 97 through 30 September 98. The task will also contain option periods sufficient to extend the contract period up to 36 man months. This period covers the Government's minimum needs. The solicitation will contain specifications for Contractor Maintenance Services (CMS) as appropriate. Services will be at the Organizational and Intermediate level as specified. Minimal East Coast and/or West Coast TDY is anticipated. The solicitation will contain specifications and qualifications for the types of services required. A Labor Hour contract is anticipated. The solicitation will require the submission of cost/priceand technical proposals. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be consideredby the FISC Norfolk Det Philadelphia.
