R -- DEVELOPMENT OF ANNUAL REPORTS SOL OJP-97-R-011 POC Janice P. Waller, Contracting Officer (202) 307-1418 The National Institute of Justice (NIJ) requires Contractor support for the development, including researching, writing, editing, and page making, of two congressionally mandated NIJ annual reports: One on Drugs and Crime Evaluation and the other on General NIJ activities. This requirement will require the Contractor to review NIJ technical documents, Grantee Reports, and to Conduct Interviews with NIJ Staff and /or NIJ Grantees. The Annual Reports will be approximately 200 pages, double spaced. The Contractor will recommend sidebars, display quotes, and graphics and will prepare tables and charts. The Contractor will submit final laser print, disks, and prepared tables and Graphics to NIJ for production of Camera-Ready copy. Additionally, the contractor will be required to develop Essays on key topics such as Violence in Schools, Family Violence, and Community Policing. The proposed procurement will comprise of a base year and 3 option years. It is anticipated that the resulting contract will be an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity, with Task Orders issued on a Time and Material basis. It is anticipated that the issuance date of the solicitation will be 31 October 1997.
