The property consists of thirty eight (38) five to six story apartments buildings scattered throughout the neighorhood in the Mott Haven section of the Bronx. Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials and equipment necessary to perform windows replacement, including, but not limited to complete removal, disposal of existing and installation of new aluminum windows including wood blocking, sills and drywalls jambs, child guards, accordion-type safety guards and most security grills, repair or replacement of exterior masonry as indicated Estimated price range between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. There will be eight sets of construction documents, one for each phase, and the eight phases combined consist of approximately 8155 windows. There will be a non-refundable fee of $100.00 for one set of plans and specifications and an additional $25.00 for the drawings for each additional phase. The total fee to obtain the plan and specifications for all eight phases is $275.00. Requests for the solicitation package and/or additional drawings for each additional phase shall be accompanied by a cashier's or certified check made payable to Department of Housing and Urban Development. There may be separate contracts for one or more phases. The package will be available on September 01, 1997. A pre-bid conference will be held at 10:00am, Septebmer 16, 1997 in the Community Room at Jose de Diego Beekman, Apartments (628 East 141st Street).
