The announcement constitutes the only solicitation; bids are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 90-46. This solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) #70433. This solicitation is under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) for Small Business-Small Purchase Set-Aside. The Standard Industrial Classification is 5065, and the Business Size Standard is 100 employees. This will be a Firm-Fixed price contract. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate on a sole source basis with Nuclear Security Services Corporation, 136 Burlington Ave, Clarendon Hills, IL. 60514. The FBI is requesting the time capture video to provide pre-alarm video, showing perpetrators approaching protected areas of FBI space prior to activation of each alarm system. The requirement consists of the following: four (4) Video Capture System, Model Mark XL-8. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit bids. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive bids. However, all bids received within (15) days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
