synopsis is FOR INFORMATION ONLY. Proposed contract effort will
describe the health and medical effects incurred by the population in
three regions of Semipalatinsk Oblast in the Republic of Kazakstan that
received significant amounts of fallout from the Chinese atmospheric
nuclear weapons testing program between 1964 and 1981. The Defense
Special Weapons Agency (DSWA) intends to award a sole source contract
to the Kazak Scientific-Research Institute for Radiation Medicine and
Ecology. No solicitation will be issued. For information contact Daniel
