Correction: This action originally publicized in the CBD dated 4/9/97, will not be a Firm Fixed-Price contract. The Government intends to award a Fixed-Price Award Fee contract. Close Combat Tactical Trainer (CCTT) will now be incorporated into this contract for LCCS support at a later date instead of at contract award. And, Battle Lab Reconfigurable Simulators Initiative (BLRSI) may also be added at a later date. The requirements have been modified as to include Post Deployment Software Support (PDSS). Also, the contractor shall be responsible for maintaining a minimum 90% vice 95% operational availability (Ao) for the scheduled utilization of each training device. All other information publicized in the original synopsis is correct. These changes will be reflected in amendment 03 to Request for Proposal (RFP), N61339 97 R 0011. It is anticipated that amendment 03 will be posted, on or about 29 Aug 1997, to the internet via the STRICOM Home Page at www.stricom.army.mil under Procurement Information and the NAWCTSD Home Page at www.ntsc.navy.mil under Request for Proposals.
