R -- MODIFICATION OF CONTRACT SOL 240-93-0060 POC Suzanne Stinson 301-443-5130 The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) proposes to negotiate a contract modification on a sole source basis with The Baylor College of Medicine, One Baylor Plaza, Houston, Texas 77030-3498. The purpose of the modification to the contract will be to provide an increase in the level of effort to tasks within the existing Statement of Work. This work involves the continuation of the Model Hispanic Center of Excellence program which establishes a continuum and provides support for selected Hispanic students from high school graduation through graduation from medical school. A justification for other than full and open competition has been prepared by the Government. A Request for Contract Modification Proposal will be issued on or about August 29, 1997, with a closing date for receipt of the budget proposal from Baylor and award of the modification approximately 30 days later.
