Scales, Services Contracts, fax: (423) 632-4582, e-mail: gcscales@tva.gov The Tennessee Valley Authority intends to obtain the services of qualified contractors by Competitive Negotiation to provide comprehensive mapping services including aerial photography; aerotriangulation; planimetric, topographic and cadastral mapping; photointerpretation; map and photo scanning; and orthophotography. Specific data production categories may include (1) black and white digital orthophotography, (2) Digital Elevation Models -- for production of digital orthophotography, (3) planimetric mapping to include both hydrography and transportation, (4) parcel boundaries linked to a state parcel assessment data base, and (5) power transmission towers and lines. Property mapping will be registered to digital orthophotography and planimetric mapping. The conversion methodology will be performed utilizing a best fit approach with newly acquired digital orthophotos as the landbase and existing mylar tax maps for parcel digitizing. Additional pertinent property information will be provided by ASCIIfile data. Final digital products will be translated into both Intergraph's MGE format and ESRI's Arc Info format. TVA expects to make multiple awards of this contract with no guaranteed minimum. TVA anticipates the resulting awards of fixed-price IDIQ delivery order contracts will be for a 3-year period. The total cost of this work inclusive of all contractors is estimated not to exceed $15,000,000 over the entire contract period. Proposers may be asked to provide examples of work products and cost data according to TVA identified criteria.
