Z -- REPLACE WINDOWS (B) SOL 541-197-97 DUE 092297 POC Judith Wilson (216) 838-6091 Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, supplies, and supervision necessary to accomplish work indicated on the contract drawings and specification or reasonably implied for Project No. SL97-052 entitled "REPLACE WINDOWS (B)" at the Department of Veterans Administration Medical Center, Brecksville Unit, 10000 Brecksville Road, Brecksville, OH 44141. Work includes but is not limited to general demolition of existing windows, lead paint abatement, installation of new windows, painting of existing frames and "Z" channels as specified and finishes as required for Buildings 1, 2, 3, and 7. The project requires workto be performed in a phased manner as detailed in the contract specifications and construction drawings. The project must be completed in accordance with VA specifications, drawings and within the VA, OSHA, NEC, BOCA, NFPA, and JCAHO requirements. Prospective bidders must visit site and verify all existing conditions, conduct all necessary surveys, and make all necessary measurements to establish the extent and complexity of the work. Cost Range is between $2M and $5M. This project is 100% 8(a) set-aside for firms eligible under SIC Code 1751 and are certified under the Cleveland DIstrict Small Business Administration Office. Solicitation will be issued on/or about August 21, 1997. Site Visit date and time will be on cover of Specification Book. BId Opening scheduled for September 22, 1997 at 2PM.
