DUFECK (612) 290-5413 (Site Code DACW37) The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, intends to negotiate with Ross Laboratories, Inc., 3138 Fairview Ave. E., Seattle, Washington on a sole-source basis under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source, for the purchase of one (1) automated mini-sweep survey system including one (1) 24 foot launch with trailer, five (5) transducers capable of surveying a twenty-five foot (25') swath of 100 percent coverage, the entire boom, stuts, knuckles, A-frame and hydraulics systems, one (1) fully operational Differential Global Positioning System (DGPS), and all the electronics and computer systems needed to be fully interfaced and fully operational at the time of delivery. The system must be fully compatible with existing systems. This requirement will be accomplished by issuing a firm fixed-price supply contract. Firms that respond to this notice must supply all pertinent information including prices and sufficient technical documentation to establish a bonafide capability to meet this requirement. No telephone requests will be accepted. Only written responses will be honored. If no affirmative responses are received to the effect that a comparable source is available or that it is more advantageous for the Government, the requirement will be placed with Ross Laboratories. Specifications, plans, or drawings relating to the procurement described are not available and cannot be furnished by the Government.
