This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposal are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-46. DESCRIPTION: Item 0001 -- Circle shear cuts 3-1/8" to 42" circles, 1/8" mild steel capacity, includes leg set, rack and pinion feed for tail stock, 3/4 hp variable speed motor and control. Standard is May Tool Company part number MTC42 or equal. Item 0002 -- Hand Brake, bending length: 73", steel body construction, apron bearing, extra heavy tie rods, capacity: mild steel, 12 gauge (2.7MM)/stainless 16 gauge (1.6mm.). The standard is National part number N7212 or equal. Item 0003 -- Mechanical Shear, working length :78.5", capacity: 14 gauge mild steel, 5 hp, 32 strokes per minute, includes options: side squaring arm and work light. Standard is Roper Whitney part number 6M14 or equal. Item 0004 -- Turret Punch Press, 18" throat depth, includes safety lock, quick turn knobs, alphabet indicators for table mounting.
