synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with
the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional
information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the
only solicitation, proposals are being requested and a written
solicitation will not be issued. Vendors should reference Request for
Proposal (RFP) GSC-TFGO-9709. The solicitation and incorporated
provisions and clauses are in accordance with the Federal Acquisition
Regulations through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-70C. The Standard
Industrial Classification Code (SIC) is 3577. The General Services
Administration (GSA), Federal Systems Integration and Management Center
(FEDSIM) intends to procure on behalf of the United States Army Combat
Maneuver Training Center (CMTC) workstation upgrade components as
listed below (note: this is not a requirement for a complete PC):
Quantity 235 of the following: (1) PC Motherboard (Mini AT footprint)
[with the following: Intel Pentium 133Mghz CPU;Socket that will accept
upto a 200 Mghz Intel Pentium Motheboard; Intel VX Chipset or better;
4 banks of 72 Pin SIMM Sockets; 2 banks of Synchronized DRAM; 256 or
512 Pipeline Burst Cache; 4 PCI Slots; 3 ISA Slots; 2 PCI IDE Ports; 1
Floppy Port; 1 Parallel Port; 2 Serial Ports] (2) 32 Mbs of Memory,
(3) 1.7 Gb IDE Hard Drive, and (4) 2 Mb PCI Video Card. Proposals will
be evaluated on the basis of the following criteria: (1) Compliance
with the technical specifications, (2) Warranty, (3)
Replacement/Maintenance Response Time, (4) Ability to provide customer
support in Hohenfels, Germany, and (5) Price. The evaluation criteria
lsited above are of equal importance. The Government anticipates
awarding an order to the offeror whose proposal is most advantageous to
the Government, price and other factors considered. Offerors are
required to complete and submit with its proposal the Representations
and Certifications required by the clause at FAR 52.212-3. The
