The contractor will assess the specific nature of technical assistance and support needed by county and local behavioral health systems, and to provide this urgently needed technical assistance and support to the officals and staff of these systems. The contractor's assessment will be related particularly to issues such as Medicaid restructuring and managed care initiatives.
