(Contract Specialist) 202/512-5102 The U.S. General Accounting Office
is amending its RFP and CBD notice (dated July 19, 1996) for no cost
travel management services for the Agency at its headquarters in the
Washington DC metropolitan area, 10 field and 8 sub-offices located
throughout the continental United States. Services are to include
comprehensive transient travel services, management reporting and basic
meeting arrangements. This requirement will be awarded in the
aggregate. However, GAO will consider offers that are team
arrangements, joint ventures, or involve subcontracting arrangements,
under a single, prime contractor management team. In addition, GAO is
requesting that offerors include an optional requirement that would be
exercised at the Agency discretion, for travel management software
(single package or a choice of packages) for which offerors would
provide licensed ownership, technical support for implementation and
continuing maintenance and upgrade support for the life of the
contract. The software must operate on a Novell platform and have the
capability to generate travel orders and vouchers in accordance with
the Federal Travel Regulations (FTR) and transfer the data to American
Management System's (AMS) Financial Management System (FMS) (also
known as AMS Federal Finaincial Systems (FFS). This contract will be
effective from the date of contract award (base year FY-98), plus four
option periods (FY-99, FY-2000, FY-2001, and FY-2002). Requests for
the RFP must be in writing and should reference Solicitation No.
OAM-96-N-0018. Firms currently on the mailing list for this requirement
will not be required to re-submit a request. Firms may send their

Solicitation No. OAM-96-N-0018 on February 7, 1997, and Amendment No.
one was issued on March 17, 1997. The Next Amendment (No. 2) will be
