The Fire/Evacuation alarm system at NSA, NOLA, E/B, Bldg 601, 602, and 603 consists of two systems: Edwards 6500/6800 Fire/Evacuation alarm system and Edwards Systems Technology (EST) IRC-3 microcomputer based network design. The two systems are presently interconnected to operate and monitor a number of smoke detectors, manual pull stations, sprinkler flow switches, horns, etc. The scope of this project is to eliminate the Edwards 6500/6800 system, add additional equipment and parts as necessary into the Edwards microcomputer system; and connect the existing fire alarm and monitoring devices using practically all existing circuitry for a proper and functional system. The proposed acquisition is UNRESTRICTED. Estimate duration of the contract is 90 calendar days for completion. Estimate is between $25,000 and $100,000. Payment Bonds are required.
