helicopter components, new, on an exchange basis (with the Government
providing a repairable core for credit), and by remanufacturing a
Government owned core, or a combination of all three. All exchange and
remanufacturing are to be performed by a designated
Aerospatiale/American Eurocopter Service Center and FAA (or comparable
if non-domestic) certified repair station. All exchanges and
remanufactured items shall be to the latest configuration and standards
in accordance with applicable Aeropsatiale/American Eurocopter
maintenance manuals, service letters, service bulletins, and authorized
maintenance center information letters (AMS-IL) with changes in effect
at the time the parts are exchanged or remanufactured. The Government
intends to award an indefinite delivery requirements contract for an
initial one (1) year period with four (4) one-year option periods,
which, if exercised could extend the performance period to a total of
five (5) years. All offers received will be evaluated for the initial
one (1) year period plus the four (4) year option periods. This
contract is subject to the Service COntract Act and the place of
performance is unknown. The contracting officer will request wage
determinations for locations if requested to do so in writing by 3:30
PM, Dallas, Texas time, September 5, 1997. All requests for this
