DESC: The government intends to procure the following brand name requirement [IAW FAR part 6.302-1(c)] manufactured by Visual Numerics Inc., 6230 Lookout Rd, Boulder CO 80301: PV-Wave Advantage, Single user node-locked development software (P/N: PVWAV-AD) and One year software update subscription service (P/N: PVWAV-AD-M). These items will be used in a DEC AlphaServer 8200 5/440 Dual-Processor System at Edwards Air Force Base. All responsible sources who can provide the above requirements shall submit a written quotation, no later than 15 days from the published date of this announcement. Quotations must include FOB Point, GSA Contract Number (if applicable), payment terms, delivery date, Taxpayer Identification Number (in accordance with FAR Clause 52.204-3, business size (i.e., large, small, minority or woman-owned) based on SIC Code 7372. No RFQ will be issued. All questions must be submitted in written format and mailed to the Contract Specialist at the address identified above or faxed to (805) 258-7808. Facsimile quotations will be accepted. If no responses are received, the award will be made to the manufacturer, Visual Numerics, Inc. The solicitation is anticipated to be issued o/a 27 Aug 1997.
