Garcia (301) 443-2750 The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) is soliciting proposals in accordance with the Simplified Acquisitions Procedures in Part 13 and Acquisition of Commercial Items in Part 12 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). The purpose of the procurement is to design, develop, test, and install a server-based system which will image hard-copy files, and provide for the retrieval and on-screen viewing of imaged files, database files and flat files. The designed system must have the capability to E-mail, fax, and send image files, templates using database files and flat files over the Internet. In performance of the contract the contractor specifically shall: 1) Design an application which will integrate the hardcopy folders, dB files and flat files. The end-user depending on selection criteria will view either an image or a template with data from the dB files or flat files; 2) Provide hardware (server, storage device, scanner, and monitor) and software for the server-based system and OCBP staff workstations; 3) Provide up to 14 user workstations that will optimize use of the system following the HRSA recommended standards for user workstations that have a 3-year on-site parts and labor warranty; 4) Perform off-site back-file conversion of hardcopy paper to images; Pilot test and implement the application; 5) Provide user and system administration training for the OCBP staff; 6) Provide user and system documentation, imagining software documentation and documentation for the developed software.
