Fax at (703) 607-4611 The Defense Information Systems Agency intends to issue a quotation for the purchase of a commercial item for software and integration services in support of a photo archive system. This acquisition for the software and integration services is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) under solicitation DCA100-97-Q-0186 and is a total small business set-aside under SIC code 7379 with a size standard of $18M. THIS REQUEST FOR QUOTATION WILL BE ISSUED ON OR ABOUT 26 AUGUST 1997. COPIES OF SOLICITATION AND STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW) MUST BE REQUESTED NO LATER THAN 26 AUGUST 1997. PROPOSALS WILL BE DUE ON 10 SEPTEMBER 1997. THERE WILL BE NO RFQ AMENDMENTS ISSUED FOR THIS SOLICITATION. OFFERORS MUST PRESENT THEIR BEST UNDERSTANDING OF THE REQUIREMENTS AND A FIRM-FIXED PRICE BASED ON THE FOLLOWING: PROPOSED USE OF ONE SENIOR SYSTEMS INTEGRATOR AND ONE TO TWO ASSISTANTS FOR SIX TO EIGHT WEEKS OF WORK TO CREATE A PHOTO ARCHIVING AND DEVELOPMENT WORKFLOW SYSTEM. THE GOVERNMENT WILL AWARD TO THE PROPOSAL WHICH BEST MEETS THE TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS SET FORTH UNDER THIS SOLICITATION WITHIN FUNDING LIMITATIONS. REQUIREMENT IS SHORT-FUSED DUE TO FUNDS BECOMING AVAILABLE IN COMBINATION WITH A PLANNED TRANSITION TO ANOTHER AGENCY. Services will be provided at a site in Washington, DC to be provided with the contract award at Washington, DC 20734.
