R -- DEVELOP A PHYSICAL ACTIVITY CURRICULUM AND TRAINING MATERIALS SOL HRSA-97-MCHB-H0846A DUE 090497 POC Aileen Broider-301-443-5231 The Health Resources and Services Administration intends to negotiate on a SOLE SOURCE basis with the National Association for Sport and Physical Education, 1900 Association Drive, Reston, VA, 20191. This procurement shall be processed in accordance with the Simplified Acquisition Procedures in Part 13 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations. The purpose of this procurement is to develop a physical activity curriculum and training materials for elementary school teachers, select trainers and implement in 12 individual schools, as well as train the trainers to conduct similar programs across their states/regions. The contractor shall: select a task force; develop a model curriculum and training materials; develop a training workshop agenda; develop criteria for staff section; develop a marketing/communications plan; conduct the training; implement the program in 12 schools; and submit a draft and final project report. The National Association for Sport and Physical Education is deemed the only responsible source capable of providing the required work and services. The period of performance is one year.
