W -- LEASE OF AUTOMATED UNIT DOSE DISPENSING MACHINE, RXOBOT SOL RFP 662-95-97 DUE 090397 POC Annie Bell, Contracting Officer, (415) 750-2240 The VA Medical Center, San Francisco, Ca., Pharmacy Department requires the lease of a RxOBOT automated unit dose dispensing system for the period November 1997 thru October 1998 with four one-year option periods. The Rxobot has the following unique features that are not available in the commercial market: 1) bar code driven/robotics automation; 2) unit dose packaging; 3) envelope filling system using bar codes; 4) inventory ordering; 5) scanning system; 6) inpatient dispensing. The VAMC S.F. intends to contract with Automated Healthcare, Inc., Pittsburgh, Pa, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 for this system.
