The Naval Sea Systems Command anticipates award of a fixed price incentive contract to Lockheed Martin, Government Electronics Systems, 199 Borton Landing Road, Moorestown, NJ 08057, for production of up to seventeen (17) MK 7 AEGIS Weapon Systems (AWS) including integration and test support for the AWS and AEGIS Combat System (ACS) support equipment at the Production Test Center (PTC). In addition Lockheed Martin will provide special tooling and special test equipment, AEGIS shore site equipment, integrated logistics support, and engineering services. Lockheed Martin as the developer and original equipment manufacturer of the AWS, is the only company which possesses the knowledge, experience, tooling, and equipment necessary to produce the required hardware.
